I have found the portal in question that is trapping players. I call a vote for the removal of the fence gates and/or the deactivation of MalusSicarius’s Nether Portal. All in favor, reply yes, all opposed, reply no. Seeing as how many people don’t read the forums, I strongly suggest that you bring this up in game chat and plead that they vote either way. Won’t even take a whole minute of your day. This is not a dictatorship, you DO have a say in this. If you think this is unjustified, simply vote no. If you read this and refuse to even vote, you are part of the problem.
I nearly died twice (1/2 heart remaining) rescuing Catboy. You ever fought 3 ghasts simultaneously on a 3 wide ledge above a lava ocean? NOT FUCKING COOL DUDE!
Regardless of the outcome of this vote, the Nether Hub will begin construction as soon as we get Cynix back. Be prepared. Some people will get their feathers ruffled.
